The Opportunity:
This is a permanent opportunity.
We are seeking an experienced air quality professional to join our Air Quality Branch and play a leading role in shaping environmental outcomes across Western Australia. In this position, you'll tackle complex air quality challenges, lead strategic investigations and modelling projects, and provide trusted scientific advice that influences policy, regulation and major environmental decisions.
This is more than a technical role. You'll work alongside government agencies, industry, researchers and community stakeholders to address emerging environmental issues and deliver practical, evidence-based solutions. As a senior member of the team, you'll also mentor and support other environmental professionals, helping to build capability and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
We're seeking someone with strong experience in air quality and atmospheric science, including air quality modelling and environmental data analysis, who enjoys solving complex problems and leading meaningful work. In return, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to projects that matter, work with highly skilled professionals and help protect Western Australia's environment for future generations. If you're ready to take the next step in your career and make a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you.
