The Opportunity:
We are looking to establish a pool of skilled procurement professionals for future vacancies at level 5 and 6! Come work in a small, passionate procurement team where the processes that you facilitate support Western Australia’s environment and water resources. Head office is based in Joondalup and flexible work practices are supported including working from offices throughout the Perth metropolitan area and from home.
Procurement Officer (Level 5)
Join our team as a Procurement Officer and play a key role in delivering high-quality procurement (low to medium contract risk, complexity and value) and contract management services that support the department’s operations. You’ll provide expert advice, lead procurement processes, support tender evaluations, and ensure compliance with government policies and legislation. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, contribute to continuous improvement, and help drive value-for-money outcomes across a range of contracts.
Senior Procurement Officer (Level 6)
We're seeking a skilled Senior Procurement Officer to lead and support procurement (higher contract risk, complexity and value) and contract management activities across the department. In this dynamic role, you'll provide expert advice, develop contracts for goods, services and capital works (including ICT), and help shape procurement policies and processes aligned with government standards. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive probity, efficiency and innovation in procurement, while supporting business operations through quality systems, governance and continuous improvement.
