The Opportunities: We currently have four (4) fixed term full-time positions available for immediate filling until 30 June 2026 with possibility of extension and/or permanency. This pool will also be used to fill any similar vacancies within the next twelve months.
As the Change Manager for the transformative Environment Online Program, you will spearhead change management initiatives across multiple projects, ensuring effective implementation and broad adoption of a secure digital platform for water and environmental regulatory activities. This role involves orchestrating change activities, conducting impact assessments, building strategic stakeholder relationships, and developing change plans aligned with the program's objectives, streamlining assessments for joint State and Australian Government projects.
- Senior Data Analyst (Level 6):
As the Senior Data Analyst for the transformative Environment Online program, you will contribute to the data architecture to advance the program’s implementation and adoption. You will carry out data initiatives to collect, verify, interpret, analyse, manage and maintain data received from internal and external data sources. You will also identify opportunities and risks and develop appropriate solutions, ensuring efficient data process and practices to facilitate effective integration across the Department.
- Senior Contracts Officer (Level 6):
We are looking for a Senior Contracts Officer to lead the management of our program’s most critical and high-stakes contracts. In this key role, your expertise will shape and guide our procurement policy, planning, and contract formation, ensuring efficient and seamless contract management. You will handle policy exemptions and contract variations with precision, develop renewal and extension strategies, and provide specialised advice that will be pivotal in driving our procurement success. Your leadership and insights will be at the heart of our efforts to achieve excellence in contract management and procurement.
- Senior Program Officer – Change (Level 6):
In this role, you will play a crucial role in embedding practices and behaviours, collaborating with project and business teams to develop and implement change management strategies that promote program awareness and action. This includes conducting impact assessments to understand the potential effects of new initiatives, collaborating on communication plans to effectively convey the importance of sustainability, and supporting training sessions to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to adopt change and addition to continuously monitoring progress and gathering feedback to ensure the changes are sustainable and aligned with the program and department’s goals.
What are we looking for:
- Considerable experience and ability to understand and apply legislation and policy to support government and organisational objectives.
- Well-developed conceptual and analytical, research and evaluation skills with a proven ability to provide innovative solutions to problems and issues.
- Well-developed communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders in various contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to the achievement of team goals and objectives.
- Core leadership behaviours outlined in Leadership Expectations are applicable to these roles and should be demonstrated in the context of Personal Leadership (Level 6) and Leading Others (Level 7). The Personal Leadership context is about the work of individuals not yet in traditional leadership positions who make a direct and immediate difference to the agency.
